On Monday, February 24, 2020, Matthew Wayne Love, 52, of Fair Grove, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior. Matthew was born on March 4, 1967. He was a kind, loving and God-fearing man who loved his family deeply. He leaves behind a beloved wife, Lynzey (Purcell) Love; sons Garrett and Adam; daughters Savanna and Brooklynn Mills; mother Gena Love; father Robert Love; sister Mindy Love with nieces Emma and AnaClaire Bryant; best friend “like a brother” Chris Maples; and former wife Rebecca Love Keepper. His extended family included many and they all loved him so: John and Pam, Jim and Jane, Bruce and Cathy—all Loves; Donna & Mike Pinegar; Steve & Linda McIntosh; Myra & Craig Godsey; and all of their families.

Matthew will be remembered fondly by his church family, childhood friends, and work family. He loved them all. We will miss him deeply and take great comfort that he will live on through his spirit and fun loving memories that we all hold dear.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 29 at his life-long church, First Baptist Church of Strafford, located at 400 S Madison St, Strafford, MO 65757. Visitation is at 3:00 p.m. with the service at 4:00 p.m. The church will be open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for flower deliveries, etc. Call (417) 736-2148 or email church@fbcstrafford.org for more information.
